Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is located in a very old part of the building, which may not be ideal. The room itself was fine, equipped with a TV, small couch, safe, and shower, but cleanliness was lacking, especially the balcony with cigarette ash from the previous guest. The service, though, was satisfactory with tours and ticket assistance available.
I was pleasantly surprised by the suite with 2 bedrooms and a lounge featuring a long balcony in the very old part of the hotel. The location offers beautiful walking trails and green surroundings, although it wasn't ideal for my preferences. The dinner experience, albeit at an extra cost, was exceptional, and the hotel had a large buffet area. Overall, a cozy stay with a mix of positives and negatives.
The hotel rooms are spacious and feature a little terrace to enjoy the sunset over the hills of the Ardennes. Although they made me check-in, the rooms were well equipped and large, providing a large and comfortable stay.
The hotel was a bit understaffed and noisy, but the room was warm and old-fashioned even after changing. On the bright side, the price was reasonable for the area.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the location was absolutely beautiful, surrounded by a ridge with a quaint mountain stream passing through the grounds and within a ten-minute walk of a pretty village with bars and restaurants, the room had its drawbacks being located in the very old part of the hotel and not being ready until late in the evening. The dining experience was also a letdown despite the high cost, but the tours and ticket assistance provided by the service were helpful.
The hotel exceeded our expectations upon arrival for £57, but the cleanliness was not up to par, especially the balcony with remnants of the previous guest's cigarette ash. The location, however, is absolutely beautiful with great walking trails, lots of greenery, and is wonderful for families. The all-inclusive experience with a large buffet area by a ridge and a quaint mountain stream passing through the grounds is amazing. There were organized activities available as well.
The hotel has comfortable rooms with essential amenities like a TV, small couch, safe, and shower, making it easy to choose. Rooms are of a good size with speedy Wi-Fi even when fully booked. The service offers tours and ticket assistance. The location, surrounded by a ridge with a quaint mountain stream, is great for families and beautiful for walks. The dining experience, although with some waiting in line and extra costs for dinner, was better than most hotels in Belgium. The hotel has facilities like a homemade ice cream option.
The hotel is situated in a stunning location, surrounded by a ridge with a quaint mountain stream passing through the grounds. The rooms are comfortable, though they could use some refurbishment. The service is top-notch, with assistance available for tours and tickets. The dining experience offers a great buffet but at an extra cost, and there were queues due to buffet restrictions. Overall, the location is beautiful for walks with green surroundings, though some areas need renovation.
The hotel's rooms turned out to be a suite with 2 bedrooms and a lounge with a long balcony, well-equipped but not cleaned well enough. It is located in the old part of the hotel, offering a mix of positives and negatives. The location, albeit dark and dusty, is unique with a surrounding ridge and a quaint mountain stream. Dining was decent but had a lot of waiting and little choice. however, the overall experience is a blend of positives and negatives.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with a little terrace to enjoy the sunset over the hills of the Ardennes. The suite turned out to have 2 bedrooms and a lounge with a long balcony, a pleasant surprise upon arrival. However, the atmosphere can be a bit dark and dusty at times.
